﴿ وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ﴾

“AND UNTO DAVID We granted Solomon [as a son - and] how excellent a servant [of Ours he grew up to be]! Behold, he would always turn unto Us -”

(And We bestowed on David, Solomon. How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (towards Allah)) he is ever betaking himself to Allah and engaged in His obedience.
