﴿ يَغْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ ۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ ﴾

“enveloping all mankind, [and causing the sinners to exclaim:] “Grievous is this suffering!”

(That will envelop the people) that smoke will surround the people. (This) smoke (will be a painful torment) a torment of hunger.
