﴿ أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌۭ طَاغُونَ ﴾

“Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening ar­rogance!”

Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another) did all these folks conspire to say to their respective messenger: you are a wizard or madman? (Nay, but they are froward folk) disbelieving folk.
