An-Najm • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ أَمْ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ ﴾
“Does man imagine that it is his due to have all that he might wish for,”
(Or shall man) the people of Mecca (have what he coveteth) i.e. that the idols and angels will intercede for them?
