An-Najm • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ وَأَعْطَىٰ قَلِيلًۭا وَأَكْدَىٰٓ ﴾
“and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul], and so grudgingly?”
(And gave a little) for the sake of Allah, (then was grudging) then stopped his spending and almsgiving in the way of Allah?
