Al-Waaqia • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ لَّا بَارِدٍۢ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ ﴾
“[shadows] neither cooling nor soothing.”
(Neither cool) to reinvigorate them (nor refreshing) nor any good for them; it is also said that this means: their drink is not refreshing nor is their punishment good.
