﴿ فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًۭا لِّأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ﴾

“Thus will they come to realize their sins: but [by that time,] remote will have become all good from those who are destined for the blazing flame.”

(So they acknowledge their sins) they acknowledge their idolatry; (but far removed) from Allah's mercy and banished (are the dwellers in the flames) in the Fire today.
