Al-Qalam • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ وَأُمْلِى لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِى مَتِينٌ ﴾
“for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while, My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm!”
(Yet I bear with them) I give them a reprieve, (for lo! My scheme is firm) My punishment is severe.
