Al-Haaqqa • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ يَٰلَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلْقَاضِيَةَ ﴾
“Oh, would that this [death of mine] had been the end of me!”
Oh, would that it had been death!) he will wish for death; he says: I wish I remained dead after my first death.
