Al-Muddaththir • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ ﴾
“and yet, he greedily desires that I give yet more!”
(Yet he) i.e. al-Walid (desireth that I should give more) wealth while disobeying and disbelieving in Me.
