Al-Ghaashiya • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ ﴾
“thou canst not compel them [to believe].”
(Thou art not) O Muhammad (at all a warder over them) you are not imposed on them such that you force them to accept faith.
