﴿ أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ ﴾

“Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]?”

(Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance)) and Abu Jahl disbelieved in Allah's divine Oneness (and is froward) and turned away from faith?
