Al-Waaqia • EN-TAFSIR-MAARIF-UL-QURAN
﴿ فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مَّكْنُونٍۢ ﴾
“[conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ”
The phrase كِتَابٍ مَّكْنُونٍ 'a protected book' refers to lawh mahfuz [ i.e. the Preserved Tablet ].
